Under the clear blue sky of early autumn, the 2025 Track and Field Sports Meet of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) opened with grandeur and joy. The ceremony began with an extraordinary parade of nations — more than forty international students from the International College proudly representing their home countries. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, they walked past the reviewing stand, waving their national flags with bright smiles and confident strides. Their presence turned the stadium into a living mosaic of global colors and cultures, drawing enthusiastic applause from the entire audience.
在金秋澄净的蓝天下，中国科学院大学2025年度田径运动会于热烈与欢欣中隆重开幕。开幕式上，国际学院的show team惊艳亮相——来自世界各地的四十余名国际学生，身着各自民族的传统服饰，手举国旗，面带笑容，昂首走过主席台。他们用步伐与微笑勾勒出一幅鲜活的世界文化拼图，赢得了全场师生热烈的掌声。
As the rhythmic music and cheers echoed across the field, the show team’s parade became a symbol of unity through diversity. Each costume told a story — from the intricate embroidery of Africa to the flowing fabrics of Asia — together reflecting UCAS’s inclusive and international spirit. The dazzling procession not only celebrated cultural pride but also highlighted the strength of a truly global campus community.
随着激昂的音乐与欢呼声在操场上回荡，这场show team的入场式成为“多元汇一”的象征。每一套民族服装都讲述着独特的文化故事——从非洲的精美刺绣到亚洲的飘逸织物，交织出UCAS所倡导的开放与包容精神。这场华丽的方阵，不仅展现了文化自信，更映照出校园中蓬勃的国际化风貌。
After the opening ceremony, the competitions unfolded with full momentum. Over two days, the International College participated in numerous events — including the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m races, as well as high jump, long jump, and shot put. The athletes gave their all, their determination and enthusiasm igniting the field.
开幕式结束后，激动人心的比赛正式拉开帷幕。两天的赛程中，国际学院师生踊跃参与了100米、200米、400米、800米等径赛项目，以及高跳、远跳、铅球等田赛项目。运动员们全力以赴，激情与拼搏点燃了整个赛场。
Among the International College’s standout performers this year were Hager Rabee Muhammed Ahmed Ali Belal, Wamakhuyu Esther Khisa, Sophia Serenaoyoo, and Nnalue Anthony Chinedu. Each athlete delivered performances marked by grit and grace — sprinting with explosive determination, leaping with poised strength, and relaying with seamless teamwork. Their achievements not only earned medals and recognition but also embodied the perseverance and character that sport cultivates.
