Muhammad Ramzan

  1. Basic Information
    • Nationality: Pakistan
    • Current Degree & Major: PhD in Physical Geography -
    • Position: Student Monitor
  2. Academic & Service Philosophy Adhering to the concept that "teamwork and open communication are the core of creating unforgettable university experiences", he is committed to designing engaging campus events and building a supportive student community, enabling every student to grow through communication and make progress through collaboration.
  3. Hobbies In his spare time, he enjoys hiking. He believes that the challenges on hiking trails mirror the rewards of collaborative journeys, which brings him a sense of balance and fresh perspectives.

I will do my utmost to ensure every student's voice is heard and valued. Choo Fang Hui 

  1. Basic Information
    • Nationality: Malaysia
    • Current Degree & Major: Master's in Environmental Engineering (Research Focus: Converting biomass into green methanol through pyrolysis)
    • Position: Student Monitor
  2. Academic & Practical Background
    • Undergraduate Education: Graduated from Swinburne University of Technology with a major in Biotechnology;
    • Undergraduate Project Experience: Participated in a project on "sustainable solutions for agricultural pests", which made her aware of the complex environmental challenges faced by communities and strengthened her determination to engage in environmental protection;
  3. Voluntary Experience:Actively participated in activities such as orientation weeks, cultural festivals, and university open days. Through these experiences, she developed skills in clear communication, patient listening, and building an inclusive atmosphere.
  4. Hobbies
    • Outdoor Enthusiast: Passionate about jungle trekking;
    • Music Lover: Although she admits her sense of rhythm still needs improvement, she enjoys learning about various musical instruments and appreciates the charm of music as a "universal language".

Atabay Kokanov

    • Current Degree & Major: PhD in Medicinal Chemistry - University: University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) -

    • Has work experience in pharmaceutical research and clinical pharmacy fields, and is willing to share professional experiences or help connect with relevant resources;
    • Main Service Directions: Assisting students in adapting to campus life, answering questions about professional courses, and guiding access to practical resources (such as document processing and communication coordination).

Daniil Sobolev

  1. Basic Information
    • Nationality: Russia
    • Age: 25
    • Academic Background: Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry; currently dedicated to a scientific research career, with the goal of building his own research team.
    • Position: Student Monitor
  2. Academic & Career Vision 
    • Undergraduate Insight: Discovered his core strength—being good at building sincere social connections (different from the academic advantages of his peers);
    • Long-term Goal: To establish and lead a cutting-edge, collaborative research laboratory where every researcher and student can focus on groundbreaking scientific research and maintain enthusiasm and cohesion for innovation;
    • Action Direction: Accumulating capabilities for his leadership goals by attending academic conferences, learning across disciplines, and expanding his network.
  3. Hobbies
    • Sports: 18 years of tennis experience and regular jogging;
    • Daily Life: Enjoys reading, watching movies and TV series with his wife, and relishes the leisure time of walking in the park together.

Jerry Wang 

  1. Basic Information
    • Nationality: Canada (Raised in Beijing, with a cross-cultural background)
    • Current Degree & Major: Master's in Computer Architecture
    • Institution: Computer Network  Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CNIC)  
    • Position: Class Monitor
  2. Academic & Practical Background
    • Undergraduate Education: Graduated from Beijing University of Technology with a major in Civil Engineering and a minor in Computer Science;
    • Internship Experience: Interned at organizations such as KPMG, ACEF, and China Three Gorges Corporation, improving his project management and cross-cultural collaboration skills;
    • Student Leadership Experience: Served as the class monitor at Beijing No. 4 High School, and is familiar with how to build a supportive and collaborative student community.
