From Capital Airport to Zhongguancun Campus of UCAS

Bus Route:
1） 步行至机场5线公交站
After getting off the plane at the Beijing Capital International Airport, find the Airport Bus Stop first.
2） 乘坐机场巴士5线, 在 终点站中关村(四号桥)站下车
Take the airport bus line 5 to the Zhong guan cun Station (中关村站).
Note that there are two kinds of bus named line 5, you should take the one which goes to the Zhong guan cun Station (中关村站).
3） 步行至中国科学院大学青年公寓
Head east and walk along the Beisihuan West Road (北四环西路). Then , turn right and work south along the Zhongguancun East Road (中关村东路). When you see an overpass, you can find a narrow road on your left. Walk along that road you will find the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences(中国科学院大学) about 100 meters later.
The picture below is a map of zhong guan cun campus. When you arrive here, you can walk around and know more about the campus with its help. Take in mind that, you should firstly go to visit Teacher Wang at the International College office 221 for registration.
After registration, please go to the Apartment Service Center in the basement of Apartment A and sign up to check your room.
Apartment condition: Double room. Boys’ apartment (Apartment D) is equipped with toilet, warm water, bed, table, Internet and cabinet. Girls’ apartment (Apartment E) is equipped with toilet, warm water, bed, table, Internet, cabinet and air conditioning.
Notice:
1. Bedding has to be prepared by yourselves.
2. Cool water: 4 RMB/ton.
3. Reclaimed Water: 1 RMB/ton.
4. Warm water: 9 RMB/ton.
5. Electricity: 0.4883/kilowatt hour.
6. Repair: 82683010.
If something breaks down, please go to the apartment service center for help, which is oppose to the entrance of building D and in the basement. And also you can turn to the Chinese students on campus for help.
Canteens are available on campus including a muslin canteen. To prevent fire accident, students are not allowed to cook inside the apartment, once be found to cook inside apartment, you have to outside campus and find an apartment by yourself.
Notice: University will not provide apartments for families on campus. If you are coming with your families, you have to find an apartment by yourself.
Upon registration, you need creat a bank account and apply for a campus card. With your campus card, you can apply for the internet.

How to get there：
Take public bus 86 or 319 from Baofuqiaonan station to Baofuqia-obei station(1 station). Forword 90m, you will find it on your right.Or you can walk there, it will take you about 15 minutes.
保福寺桥南公交站乘坐86（或）319路，至保福寺桥北站下车。向前走90米。或者步行15分钟即可到达。
Note:
You have to deposit at least 10 RMB in the bank card and please bring the return receipt with your count information from the bank to International College office 221 to Miss Jin.
银行卡内至少存10元钱，将存根交给国际学院办公室221的金老师。
Campus Card (Student ID Card)
After registration, you can apply for campus card at Campus Card Center (the 1st floor of building 6).
Please send 1-inch digital photo and your name to wangyouqing@ucas.ac.cn.
You can charge your campus card with cash at Campus Card Center (the 1st floor of building 6).

About internet, you need to go to the campus card center and apply for it. Notice: remember your student ID.

Notice: You can get Residence Permit Application Form and Official Letter issued by ISO in international office 221 after you finish physical examination and get your Temporary Residence certificate.
If you want to go to the supermarket, there is a Wal-Mart around here.

Get out the gate to the Zhong guan cun East Road, turn left, go south to the Zhichun Road, there is a big crossroad. then turn left ,walk to B entrance of the Zhichun Road subway station, it is under a bridge.(A entrance is in the opposite of the B entrance )
